Products that are not WordPress based are copyrighted by Simon North or the individual creators of any work used in those projects.

For WordPress based products you are allowed to use the product on multiple domains, however you will only be able to get support/updates for the domains you have purchased a license for. You may not directly or indirectly sell or redistribute our products. If you have purchased a license on behalf of a client, you may re-coup the cost of the license from your client.

Ownership

You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of our products, modified or unmodified and you must leave intact any copyright notices within the product’s core code.

Fair Use

If using a hosted version of our widgets, we monitor usage and if we deem that the usage is excessive then we may limit access and work with you to use one of the self-hosted versions of our calculators instead. Excessive use is currently determined as over 100,000 calculator loads per month/per domain.

Support

Basic support is provided in order to get your widget working on your website, subject to us being provided with appropriate information (including at times access details) to do this. Any additions, customisations or changes to the codebase are not provided under basic level support. We provide support up to 1 year after your purchase date, after this time, it is at our discretion whether we provide further support if you have not renewed your license.

Refunds

As our products are non-tangible digital products, it is completely at our discretion as to whether we will provide a refund, you will only receive a refund if the product is not as described, doesn’t work on your website, or is broken or corrupt and if you have issued a refund request within 30 days of purchase and worked with us to rectify any issues.

Updates

We provide free updates for up to 1 year after your purchase date, after this time, it is at our discretion whether we provide further updates to the codebase.

For HTML widgets, we will notify you via email when there is an update to a widget’s code, this could be because third party data (eg, HMRC stamp duty rates) have changed and therefore updated code would be needed.

For WordPress plugins, you will receive a notification in your WordPress admin’s updates page when there is an update available for the plugin.

For hosted widgets, the updates will automatically be applied when necessary.

Delivery of Files

Once payment has been completed you will have a user account on this site, from there you can either download the self-hosted versions or you can add domains in order to setup the hosted versions and retrieve the code to add to your website.
